Hyzon Motors Australia WINS Sustainable Environment Award

The best and brightest of Australia’s national freight and logistics industry were honoured at the 33rd Australian Freight Industry Awards in September 2023 with hundreds attending a black-tie Gala Presentation at Melbourne’s Palladium Room at Crown.

Hyzon Motors Australia were the winners of the Sustainable Environment Award for their local design and development of the Heavy Rigid Platform and its contribution to zero emission transport manufacturing.  

This Award recognises the implementation of a policy or program and / or a technology innovation that improves sustainability. The judges looked for specific instances where a company can demonstrate: a reduction in total waste/energy, an increase in resource recovery, a staff training program implemented in their customer’s business to reduce, recycle, recover and the roll out of infrastructure to achieve sustainable outcomes.
